If anybody has ancestors who lived in Codicote or even nearby Welwyn or Kimpton, you'll find this an interesting day.
Held in the Peace Hall on Main Street, Codicote between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm on 22nd April, 2006, there will be the usual local booklets on sale - PR's, MI's etc., photocopies available for census entries, lots of family trees on display and refreshments available for a sit and chat.
This is an event that takes place every two years and the last one was very enjoyable. The Hall is only a few minutes walk away from the beautiful St Giles Church with its graveyard and lots of wonderful headstones, and passing plenty of pubs for lunch while you are walking there.
