I am desparately searching for the following book.

Swinton. A Walk in the Past . Author Michael John Fowler.

I understand this book is out of print now. Sad

Does anyone know where I may obtain a second hand copy ?
I have tried a few book sites on the net but have had no luck .

Try entering Swinton alone in Google 'advanced' part.
York is a good place for s/hand bookshops.
I know a Swinton nr Ripon Nth Yks.  One nr.Rotherham too ?

I am searching for the book about Swinton  near Mexborough Yorkshire .
But you never know you may come across on on your travels.

I have searched practically every site on the net that sells books with no luck at all .
Looks like I am not going to get this book. Sad Sad

Oooops sorry Big Al - feel a bit silly now.  I'll have a look anyway, stranger things have turned up.  My Hubby is from Heydock (about 30 miles from me) and I found a book in the shop about the mines in Heydock, which is still being passed around his family.
