I am looking for John Pedley of Greasley or Selston. I have two conflicting birth sources, one that places him as born in 1839 in Selston and a second that places him as born in Greasley in 1820. (There may be two John Pedleys). Both sources state that he married Lucy Brown. Lucy also has two dates in the sources I can find--one that places her birth date at 24 Aug 1824 in Greasley and the other at 24 Aug 1834. Lucy is the daughter of John Brown and Mary Spalton. Lucy first married John Dexter in 1851 (or 1852)and later (1875?) married John Pedley.
I am looking for birth information and parents names for John Pedley. I have checked the online censuses, but with little success. The sources I am interested in are 1841 and 1851 census of Nottingham (Greasley and Selston) and parish registers for Greasley and Selston. If anyone has these sources available for lookup, I would greatly appreciate it!
