Looking for the NEARY family in the Gateshead area around 1880's can anyone help with this

Hi Bozzle

Can you be a bit more specific and give some forenames for the Neary family in or near Gatehead.

Just looked on the 1881 census, and although there are a couple of dozen Neary's in the Norther Borders Region - none are shown as being in Gateshead.

thanks for both replies.. sorry i have looked at the 1881 census and has left me wondering abit .

Looking for Thomas Stanton NEARY married 1901 to Elizabeth MARTIN. Both are listed as being born in 1883 Durham Gateshead . Parents Richard NEARY and Bridgett SLATTERY they had 7 children.

Elizabeth MARTIN 's parents are listed on the 1881 census but there is abit of doublt with them too as i don't know there exact details to confirm this.

Richard NEARY was born Lancashire but what year unsure and Bridgett SLATTERY was born in ireland.. once again unsure of year. Year of marriage is unknown but believe that they had another child but died young...

if anyone can help that would be great
