Hi Helen....

Wilden is a village just north of Bedford and Bolnhurst (listed for Mary Toms) is a little to the north again so all in the right area.
The Favell/Favel "stronghold " is Renhold & Wilden were various family groups have lived since the middle ages ----I just cant get back that far yet-- Angry

. The street signs even have the family emblem on .
I will have to print this one off and check him out , I have one as a travelling brazier in 1851 so need to compare ages but he gives place of birth as -unknown Lincs.

He's married to an Elizabeth in 1881 - whereas I think yours is down as born in Leighton Buzzard.

In case it's of interest, I live in the Tring area. There are quite a large family of Johnsons that originate from Wigginton and still live there!
