Hi,

Well they have been done but it's not the easiest thing to get a hold of! The Scottish Genealogy society in Edinburgh has the best collection of MI in general, I would say. http://www.scotsgenealogy.com/

Many have been published in the Hawick Archaeological society transactions, although I do not know for sure how completely. Personally I would get in touch with the Scottish Genealogy society in Edinburgh as they are very helpful.

Hope this helps a little, mabey someone ells will know how to get a hold of them.

Hi,

They may be able to do a search if you phone them or tell you where you can get them.

Hi there,

I know the Mitchell Library in Glasgow has the issues of the Hawick Archaeological Society pulblications which contain the MIs - but I have not gone there yet to consult them.

Cheers,
Clare
