trying to set up a trip (our first) to the UK and would welcome any recommendations for a QUIET B&B in or around Holbeach/Gedney and Lincoln areas.

Being local to the Lincoln area I have never stayed in any of them, but here's a list which may help you.   Holbeach & Gedney are at the other end of the county - a bit out in the sticks!
