A world cruise - now that sounds nice!
Just the slight problem of the wherewithal. Mind you, I did just get another of those emails telling me I'd won a huge prize in a lottery! Maybe I can pay for you all with the proceeds!!

Yes I remember this thread.
I hear what you are all saying, can't agree more.
I don't know about a cruise ..I don't think I could leave my Computer for too long. Oh isn't it dreadful to be addicted to something like a puter.
I'm still searching for my late father-in-law's family. I'm sure there is a clue somewhere in Tasmania.

Hi Sarra
Tasmanians are expert at hiding their origins. They mainly did this so they can pretend they are not descended from convicts. Despite the modern acceptance of such an illustrious ancestry, and the introduction of civil BDM records in 1838 it is still difficult to confirm things in Tasmania - it would seem in later life most of those liberated convicts rebelled against any form of bureacratic form filling

Perhaps we should start a Rootschat World Cruise Saving Scheme.
Every time anyone finds a missing rellie, they put a virtual £ in to the virtual saving scheme. What greater incentive than that to spur us on to help each other in the search for missing rellies!

Well, I'm pretty safe, lizdb! My missing two are not going to be found this side of the grave, I fear!
