Would anyone be able to help with a Census Look up for me please
1871 William HEEDS age 40/41 possibly in Ordsall Area, wife Emma and children may be Mary 12 and George 10.
also for
1851 William HEEDS age 20/21
I have them on the 1861 Census

This thread has been dead for 5 years but I have just come across it.
I have information about William HEEDS and Emma WARRENER.
I am also worried that I and others may have confused two different Williams in the Ordsall area. The other one born about 1827 married Caroline BARLOW.
The problem could be solved if I could get access to the marriage certificate of William and Emma who married at Sheffield in the December quarter of 1855 (FreeBMD). I do not know which church this was.
My strong suspicion is that the father of Emma's husband was James and not Robert as some believe.

This is what I wrote to you:
Hello,
My wife's g grandmother was Mary HEEDS b Manchester 1868.
My William b Retford 1826 (son of Robert/Sarah) married Caroline BARLOW but there was another William (his cousin, probably the son of James/Mary) b 1830 at Retford who married Emma WARRENER.
I have dozens of HEEDS.
Thanks for your interest I would be delighted to learn what you have on the HEEDS family.

Yes I have the same info re your William b 1826.
My William is the son of James and Mary WHITE
The baptism for him is at Ordsall 28 Feb 1930 under EADES
