I found out that Jackie Rowsell who now has rockingstone farms grandmother was a boyce, she married a Thomas. He was a bit vague last time i called. It may be better if you write to him instead. I will more than happily give him a call again and see if i can get anymore info

if it was Thomas Albert Boyce and was also the brother to Margaret Ann Follett nee Boyce who lived up the rockingstone , He would have been my Grandfathers brother Tom.

the Boyce siblings were

Margaret Ann Boyce married Walter Follett.
Thomas Albert Boyce - no other info yet
Sarah Elizabeth Boyce - no ither info yet
William Boyce Married Mary Jane Wrench {my nan + granch}
Walter Boyce who died in 1925 and was a miner living Oakview

would appreciate it if any of the birth marriage or death certificates could be found for me to copy.

The Baker family names are not my direct family relatives .
but there are connections to a Baker family with Julianne Rowsell.
I am not aware of what the connections are and where the Baker families came from myself.

My Rowsell's are quite a way back and information taken from the roots web site Somerset Coalfield connections not my own research.
My grandmother was Louisa Blacker from Midsummer Norton and her Great grandmother b1797 was Anne Rowsell married to Alexander Kingston. The name also seems to crop up with sibling marriages e.g. Joseph Rowsell married Elizabeth Withers.
My greatgrandmother was Ann Whithers who married Robert Blacker in Paulton although the marriage does not appear on the Somerset coalfield connections site.
I find researching Midsummer Norton the same surnames keep cropping up.

hello. I believe that a Benjamin Joseph Rowsell married a Elizabeth Baker in 1847 Yeovil. Does this correspond with anything that you know.
