Hi Brenda
Sorry we haven't been able to help you so far on this one.
Have you made any progress, or do you have any further details that could help someone to find what you are looking for?
Look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes

For some time the team of Copyright Editors has been removing breaches of copyright and sending detailed personal messages to the member that had posted the information. Hi Brenda
As I'm sure you have checked, there is no death showing for Helen after 1855 and the start of official registration (with wildcards). I wonder if Sarah Kennedy's marriage in 1856 shows mother Helen as deceased?
Regards.
Monica

Brenda
There is a possible entry for the family in Dunbarton for the 1841 Census (youngest daughter Rebecca in the 1851 Census posted by Rob shows as born in Cumbernauld Dunbarton):
John, 45, lab. b. Ireland Ellen, 30, b. Ireland (?) Alex, 20, lab. John, 10 Ellen, 8 Robert, 6 Sarah, 4 Sner (?), 2
Address: South Side Of Main Street, Cumbernauld
Everyone showing as born outside the county, except parents with an Ireland birth place.
Regards.
