Samuel Alexander Thompson was born c1840 in Co Down. He married Mary Jane Almond c1862, the couple probabaly eloped. their daughter Elizabeth Ann was born in 1862
Other children were Alexander born c 1880 in Liverpool

Have you the info off the 1881 Census, there is a difference with Samuel name and a slight difference with Elizabeth.
They are living at 23. Seacome Street, Everton, Lancashire

Elizabeth A. Havil (Daug) Age 18 b. Liverpool
Harriet Thompson (Daug) Age 6 b. Liverpool

Thank You this is my family. There is a mistake with some of the names, but them non the less!
My great Grandmother was the Elizabeth , she married a Greek called Savva
I cannot find any links anywhere!They've disappeared into the Irish mist

Are these yours....
Elizabeth A. Thompson married John Savva
Married at St. Mary Church, Walton, Liverpool
Marriage registered in Liverpool 1881
Sarah Thompson married William H. Grayson
Married at West Derby Registry Office, Liverpool
Marriage Registered in Liverpool 1896
Both can be found on the lancashirebmd site, and you can print out a form with the reference number and where to send if you required a copy of the certificate.

I've just noticed your message, if you haven't already ordered the marriage certificates, I can get you the copy of the marriage in St Marys Walton from Liverpool Record Office, unfortunately they only hold the church records and not the register office records.
I'm visiting the record office on Monday, so let me know if you'd like a copy.

Hi Gill,
Here are the details of the marriage for Elizabeth Thompson and John Savva.
January 31st 1881 at St Marys, Walton on the Hill, Liverpool.
John Savva, age 24, Bachelor, occupation Mariner, address given as Walton, father was John Savva, deceased, occupation was also Mariner.
Elizabeth Ann Thompson, age 18, Spinster, no occupation, address given as Walton, father was Samuel Alexander Thompson, occupation Mariner.
Witnesses were  ???Savva, and S.A. Thompson, probably Elizabeths father.
