Thanks Sharon!!!

It is not the Denis I thought, but it is his Uncle I think!!!.  He was born abt 1850.  His nephews the Denis I was looking and his brothers named some of their children Denis, John, Eileen, Lily, Patrick, Agnes.

It gives me information to research into a bit more, great thanks.    Smiley  Still trying to find out about all of my gg grandfathers brothers and sisters.  He was Patrick McInerney born 1843 (father of the Denis I was looking for).  I believe he had brothers Denis, John, and Michael, and possibly sisters Ellen, Mary, Christina.

All of these brothers were shipwrights in the Dock area, so that fits too, and all had  first born sons named John.  Some of my gg granps children were born in Windmill Street.

Thanks again, it is so much appreciated, lots to think about, I wonder who this Denis was married to...

It would be easy enough to find her,

Name McInerney
Died between 1897 and 1901,
Place Limerick
Age mid-forties.

Check the bmd index at your local family history centre, hopefully there will only be the one that fit all the boxes and you'll only need one cert..
