Is it possible to find a marriage within the Scottish records, that would've probably have taken place in the 1930's?

You are going to have to apply direct to the General Register Office of Scotland (GRO) for a copy of a marriage certificate from 1931 onwards. On-line records are only available from Scotlands People at http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk up to 1905 for births/marriages up to 1930/deaths up to 1955/censuses up to 1901.
You should look at this site http://www.gro-scotland.gov.uk/famrec/index.html which explains how to apply for certificates after these dates.

I had looked at Scotspeople, but unfortunately I don't know where they got married. All I know is that the groom was a Kirk, and their son was born Aberdeen. I can't find a marriage on the England/Wales BMD, so I just presume they got married in Scotland. I have 2 possible forenames for the groom, and only know the surname of the bride. It's the bride's forename that I am actually after, as my father-in-law has always said that their son was his cousin, but I haven't found anything to verify this, as the only Aunts I have found of his, all married men with different surnames to the one I'm trying to find. It could be that he was a 2nd cousin, or cousin once removed. It's just a pain not actually being able to put him down on the tree somewhere!!
Sorry if this is sounding all a bit obscure, but the son was quite well known.
