Death at Sea
« on: Friday 21 April 06 11:47 BST (UK) »

Can anyone point me in the right direction for locating a possible death at sea of a fisherman, sometime between 1881 and 1885?  It is relevant to Edward Robert HODGMAN (sometimes misspelt HODGEMAN) who in the 1881 Census was on the 'Silver Dart' but had disappeared by the time his wife had another child in 1884, and he is not on the birth cert as the father.  I think it likely that the vessel came out of Ramsgate.

Any help appreciated

Cheers

Alex
