Stuck in a rut?
« on: Friday 21 April 06 21:39 UTC (UK) »

I have posted this before and no luck maybe someone can throw some light on it.

I have John Wood b 1810  Eccles Berwickshire, d1890 Roxburgh on his death cert his name is now

James?  his widow is named as Agnes Moor now comes my problem I know he married Agnes and

they had at least 7 children all born in Roxburgh, but can I find either a marriage cert or birth cert for

Agnes? I have searched all variations of the spellings, her parents were Thomas Moor and Agnes

Armstrong. I have Agnes's Death cert, she died 1861 aged 55yrs. This has been driving me daft for

weeks now. Any one help Pleeese Huh

Agnes' parents married 24/11/1802 at Coldstream if that helps you at all-I wonder if your Agnes is on any OPR's at all?
