I appreciate all the help re/mygrandfather not sure about
the 2 roses that the first I knew about them my granmother was still  living in may lane until 1967. was he a
Private or a Sergent I am still in the dark on this once again  many thanks.

I came across 2 medals  Georgivs V long service and good conduct.Georgivs VI.1939/1945.also some tags J200any info/re/ them my late Brothers were in the Navy/Army 1950 1970 would theyhave anything to do with there service./

need some help re/ the above  I would like to know in what year  he joined the army also where was he station at the time as this could help in Researching his time in the army  Name MIchael fitzgerald private  No 140437 .

It should  read 1914/1920 war  sorry about that  and his D.O.B 16/6/1878 and he died 29/5/1920 age 42.
