I hope someone can help.
William Wills was born in Orton in 1820.
By 1849 he was in Weardale where he married.
I am interested to know if he was still in Westmorland in 1841, and if so,
is there any further informaton regarding his family.

Hi Sue,
Williams' occupation is given as a Labourer on the marriage certificate.
His father's name was Joseph - occupation Mason.
I am not 100% sure but I think his mother's name was Margaret.

I agree that it could well be his parents, the names certainly match and the ages are roughly what I would expect.
As for William, he might have moved from the area by 1841.
