Hi,
I am really stuck trying to trace my gggg grandfather. I believe (maybe wrong though) that he was born in either Manuden or Arkesden (no online IGI coverage). Kindly souls have searched for me in the past but with more and more info becoming available I am hoping for a new lead.
My new angle is trying to find out where his sister was born, names of children etc, so below is all the information I have on her:
Sarah Dean (nee Josolyne) m. George Dean, farmer of Arkesden
She was mentioned in a brothers Will dated 1821, Harlow Essex.
Her brothers were, Thomas Josolyne, born approx 1752, John Josolyne c. approx 1862, a sister called Sophia Warner and a brother called William Josolyne (of London), both of whom I know nothing about.
I know this is a very big long shot but worth a try.
Many thanks
Anna

Hi,
Thanks for the offer villageduckpond, I know that Manuden has a website but do you know if Arkesden has some sort of local history society?
Unfortunately, Arkesden and Manuden are not on the online IGI and I have not been able to visit the Latter Day Saints office in Amsterdam yet.
Thanks Clincher for the link, I am a member of the JOSLIN Society but my line of Josolyne's are almost impossible to trace back from about 1762, a few people have tried but with no success.
Thanks again to you both.
