Can you help me please, I'm trying to find the marraige date of: Thomas Wood born approx 1835 Stanley Common, and married a Frances believed born 1841 at Walton, Lincs.
Thomas father was (Stanley) John Wood est 1803 Gainsborough, Lincs.
Any other info regarding the above would be appreciated Thanks in anticipation..

Hi Timber
Have found a possible marriage in March 1869 in Caistor, Lincs (Vol 7a, Page 791). The female names listed include a Frances Carter.
Best wishes Rowena

Hi Rowena,
Thanks very much for you info, however I gave the wrong info regarding Frances, she was evidently born in Walton, which is in Leicestershire and not Lincs as stated. Not sure if this changes your search info??
Regards Timber

Hiya Timber
Shouldn't do as I searched by names, unless you think they married in Leicestershire rather than Lincs? Am happy to look again if you want me to.

Hi Rowena, Thanks for message. I have no information as to where the marraige took place, so will take your info as is for the time being. It seems to fit with the 1871 census where both are shown as married.
