Hi,
i wonder if anyone could help. I am trying to trace Reuben Beamer, born in Bollington Cheshire to Solomon and Temperance Beamer.
I've tried all sorts of searches and i have only ever come up with one Reuben Beamer.
I think that he was serving in the Border Regiment, i have a medal card, and that he was married in Carlisle in 1909.
If anyone has any ideas on how to track him after this please let me know. I've even resorted to making my G.Uncle search the phone book for beamers in the hope of finding his descendents. Crazy or What?

I searched on his father Solomon...........&

He appears upon the 1881 England census, age 6, living with his parents & eight other siblings. RG11/3490. District Macclesfield.

1891 England census, age 16, living with his parents & five other siblings.....RG12/3369: District. Burnley.

Can't find him on 1901 but can find his mother living Burnley with four of her children.........she is recorded as BEANAR but three children are BEAMERS......perhaps Reuben was away with his regiment?
