I have relatives shown in Census as born in Brand Side or Flash, Derbyshire (Yes I know Flash is Staffs) .

I even wonder if a marriage was in this area. (Most of the rest of this branch are in Cheshire)

WHat parish would be likely apply here.
Are there any PRs available, (anyone have them?) LOoking at around 1800)

The Wirksworth Parish Records 1600-1900 website has a Derbyshire Place-name Index which shows the Place-name as well as its Parish and Parish code.

Here's the info. for Brand Side  ... 140-Hartington Upper Quarter-Wi (Wi=Wirksworth).
