Hi there,
I have a James Funnel married Elizabeth Waterman July 1823 Cranbrook Kent.
These are the parents of Jane Funnel b. 1825 Cranbrook Kent.
Jane Funnel then married James Waterman in 1844.
I'm trying to find if the Watermans were related - I suspect so but would like it confirmed.
On the Family Search site I found Elizabeth Waterman with Susan as her mother.
My search at the minute is to find the parents of James Funnel and Elizabeth Waterman - is that possible? Does anyone have access to Marriage records for Cranbrook 1823?
Hope this isn't too dis-jointed!
Any help greatly appreciated. Jules

Frances,
Thank you so much for looking for this info for me.
It looks as if this is who I was looking for and I can now look further. It was good of you to look so quickly.
Still looking for the marriage if anyone else can help?
Thanks again Frances.
Regards Jules

Hey Bearkat,
This uncanny.... I had just found a reference to a marriage of Henry Waterman to Elizabeth.
It may be good news - I'm trying to connect James to them now!
Thank you so much for this - I'm doing well today!
Regards, Jules

Hi Jules, Have you had a look at the KAS website:
http://www.kentarchaeology.org.uk/Research/Libr/MIs/MIslist.htm
Look at "suggestions on how to use 'Google' to search all the churchyards at once for a name click here" and you find all the Watermans Many MI's in Kent list all the children born to the deceased. You may strike lucky Bearkat

Hi Bearkat,
Thanks for that info. I have just looked at this site - which is great - but no joy on the people for which I'm looking.
Thanks again for your help.
Jules
