Hi there, wondering if anyone has any connection to a Miles family from Kingsland Herefordshire.
I have a James Miles 1796 married to Hannah. Children: Richard 1828, John 1829, Ann 1831, Edward 1834 & William 1839 All born in Kingsland.
I have the family living in West Town Kingsland at a place called (what looks like) Brust Mill in 1841. Does anyone know where abouts in the area this would have been?
I've been trying with no luck to locate the marriage of James Miles and Hannah (who was born in Bucknell, Shropshire).
I'd love to hear from someone who is researching the same family.
Many thanks!
Lesley

Thanks, for that. I had seen it on the IGI, & had flagged it as likely but am a bit tentative about believing it to be my James Miles! If anyone knows of a Hannah Mason born in Bucknell circa 1800 that would really convince me!
Many thanks,
Lesley

There are a lot of Masons in Bucknell, there is a Hannah but born 1778, also m ore likely is an Ann born 1800 that would fit. Very often Hannah/Anna/Ann get changed about

Thank you, I don't know the area very well, and hope to visit Bucknell tomorrow after having a stall at the Greenman festival in Clun! I think I'll also be passing through Byton now too! I've just noticed on Multimap that Byton is pretty much near Kingsland too, so it's looking very likely.
Thanks so much for your help!
Best Regards,
Lesley
