Tranters of Lilleshall
« on: Sunday 17 October 04 10:47 UTC (UK) »

Hi

My nan was born in Lilleshall, Shropshire 1898, she was I think the youngest of 9 children.  Father Enoch, mother Mary (nee Corfield).

I have the birth certificate forEnoch who was born Bromwich Barracks,Lilleshall in January 1842.  His father was William and mother Margaret (nee Worrall).  I would be eternally grateful is anyone could find them on the 1841 or 1851 census.

Hi John
Must apologise for not replying earlier but I've had no computer for the last 8 weeks.  Your find sounds good, would you mind sending me a copy, my e-mail address is hilary@whalley677.freeserve.co.uk.  Many thanks and a very happy new year.

Hi Hilary

I've recently located in my tree, an Elizabeth Tranter born 1832 at Wombridge.  Does her name appear in your tree?  Sorry, I've no more details at the moment.

:)Hi Pauline - sorry but I don't have an Elizabeth in my tree, should I fine one I'll be in touch.  Hard work this family history business isn't it?
