My great/great/grandfather William Hare (transcribed as Hase) on the 1851 census is shown as police constable and chelsea pensioner sergeant. He lived in Boscawen Terrace Truro. Have you any details of him please. His wife was Mary Solomon he served in the 28th Foot regiment until 1835. He was born in TullyCorbett Monachan Ireland.
