Grindrods - 1797

Hi
Could anyone help Edward Grindrod was born Hope, Lancashire - sometimes Heywood.  Where is Hope - read something about Hope - Oldham Road, Failsworth Huh I'm looking where he may have been baptised - what churches around these places. - He then went to live in Manchester - Victoria Street, daughter baptised at  the Cathedral.

Although I know this site will not help you with Edward it is usefull if any of your other Grindrod's came from Rochdale.

Thanks for the web site - will have a look thru it and hope I get some luck.
All I know and read somewhere that Hope was around Failsworth - so I may find out something from this site.

You will find some Grindrods (Lancashire) on The I.G.I as well. Search. All no years.
