Am looking for information on a John James Spencer, he was born in Kirton in Lindsey - which I think is in Lincolnshire - approx 1860.  He moved to Cambridgeshire and was responsible for draining a lot of the fens.  He married Rosanna Martin in 1884 and had several children.  He died in 1937 in Ely.

Are you doing a One Name Study on the entire family name or are you just after information on particular individuals? 

If the latter is the case I will gladly move the post for you to a more relevant board which may help to generate a response for you.   Please let me have any information on possible locations (County etc.) so I can place it in the right board.
