You might wonder why i am putting this link in the common room Instead of London.Apart from it probably already being there, it will be of interest to others who don't visit London. I found it accidentally and its a fascinating site.It isn't a smash and grab site.There are lots of records,not all to view but where they are held.An interesting page is Registers of convicts in Australia 1788-1834 Held P.R.O so go make a cuppa and have a read Grin

I agree celia...

Have an ancestor Samuel Liscoe who was a wharfinger at Hays Wharf in London c.1790 and the variuos cases of theft against his business.Also the case of John Liscoe who with another boy stole some shoes again related but not sure which John he was .
