Hi Carmel
It's been quite a long time since your post, so I hope that this may still be of some use to you.
I've got a book of MIs for the Old High Churchyard in Inverness where there are the following stones (the age for Donald doesn't really fit with your info on the first stone, but I thought I would include it as it has such a lot of information):
"Erected by Donald Fraser, Culcabock Village, wife May McKenzie died 22 September 1871 aged 69 years, children May died 20 December 1846 aged 19 years, William Fraser died by falling from a scaffold in Dunoon 10 October 1871 aged 32 years, grandchild William Fraser aged 3 months, above Donald Fraser, quarrier died 2 September 1880 aged 84 years, son Alexander Fraser builder, died 22 August 1900 aged 70 years, daughter Mary Fraser died 10 June 1909 aged 75 years, son Donald Fraser died 23 February 1921 aged 86 years (wife Mary Cameron died 13 February 1938 aged 88 years."
"Donald Fraser, weaver, Haugh, died April 1845 aged 85 years, wife Mary Chisholm died April 1846 aged 85 years, first son Alexander died April 1847 aged 60 years, erected by third son Thomas Fraser."
I do hope that these Frasers are your line - there's such a lot of information on the first gravestone! Lynn

Thanks Lynn I hope they are in my family also. The Donald could be son of the one I was looking for in the post and brother of my ancestor Rebecca. Rebecca's eldest son Hugh Cameron was baptized Feb 1845 and one of his godparents was a Donald Fraser who I thought would probably be Rebecca's brother and this could be him. I will do some more research into this family and see what I can come up with. Thanks veery much. Best Wishes, Carmel
