What if she's still alive and would rather not be found?

Have you been through the marriage indexes quarter by quarter starting say 1930? These are available free on www.ancestry.co.uk. And similarly with deaths from 1913 onwards?

Many thanks for your reply, & point taken regarding not wishing to be found!

I have been searching through soooo many records so many times, but have decided to go back over things again!

I also decided it best to modify my original message to a full deletion & change the subject title to completed!
