I was wondering if anyone has the MIs for Langton.....
I am looking for Alexander Hastie......died 1857 and his wife Isabel Bell.

In the pre 1855 Berwickshire MI's.
Modern Church Yard at Gavinton.
No.15. Isabel Bell wife of Alexander Hastie d. at Choicelee 18.11.48  60 yrs. dau. Isabel 30.3.35 8 yrs. Alexander Hastie d. at Scotston 27.6.57  65 yrs.

Your message was a while ago and perhaps you have more info on Alexander and Isabel by now. They are part of my family tree and I have photos of their grave and the church/churchyard at  Gavinton

M.I.Ayton for Guthrie.

In memory of Hannah Guthrie wife of Robert Gibson Flemington Cottage who died 24.10.1852 age 88 years.  Also Agnes Shearlaw mother of the above Robert Gibson died at Catch-A-Penny 28.12.1847 aged 82 years.

Here lies the body of Jean Guthrie spouse to John Cockburn who died 9.3.1759 in the 19th year of her age.  Also his son John died 3.11.1775 aged 15 months.

In the affectionate remembrance of Jessie Kirkaldy wife of George Guthrie who died 12.3.1879 aged 39 years.  Also the above George Guthrie who died Duns 14.5.1928 aged 86 years.
