allison/bevan Marriage poss 1919

Hi,

Can anyone through so light or help my way - Looking for Edith May Bevan born 1900 worcester died 1978c worcester she married a Robert J Allison 20 years older then her, can find no record of him he died in worcester 1950 possibility that he may have come from yorkshire?  any advise would be helpful

A copy of the Certificate would tell you where he died, who registered the death etc - this might give an indication of whether his wife was still alive at the time.

we know that his wife was still alive as she did not die until the seventies  but we just can not find a marriage cert to prove that they where married
