Can any one help? Trying to trace Robert John Allison
Think he was formally from Selby Yorks but came down to Birmingham to work at Kalamazoo in Longbridge as a printer. During his time there he went to India to print money. I think he was married but cannot find any certificate for it. Edith Amy Bevan of Worcester 1900- 1972 was his supposed wife. I think he may have been married before as he was 20-25 years older than Edith.
They have 4 children George born 1926 registered B'ham south, Peter born 1927 registered B'ham south, Elizabeth born 1932 Registered Drowitch ( think she was born on ship coming back from India ) Anthony born 1935 registered Gloucester.
in 1934 set up small village shop just outside Upton upon Severn, Worcs. The family still lives there.
He died in 1951 in Worcester aged 68? (age is questionable )
Any help on this would be much appreciated as i have drawn a blank on his previous life & where abouts.
