How can I delete an old tree and replace it with a new tree?

Hi

You are not clear here, exactly what you want to do, so I am guessing a bit.

If you created a family tree, using a family history program, then you just need to recreate the wep pages and upload them them to your website again.

If the files are all in a particular folder (directory) on the website, then delete the old ones first, just to be sure that you don't have a lot of files later, that you don't know why they are there.

If I guessed wrong, let me know  Smiley

Yes Bob you do understand what I'm getting at. I've done as you said but when I bring up the web page it still shows the old tree i.e. at 26/3 whereas on the FTP manager it says 1/5-is it me?

Hopefully you will have resolved this by now .....

Unfortunately even after you upload a new version of a web site the old version is still in the cache system (stored memory) of the web servers and this needs to be refreshed before the new pages are seen. In some instances this can be done in minutes in others hours.
