These McClintons are in my family Agnes ( Bruce ) & William McClinton moved to Maybole and then to Glasgow . I have been following them closely, mainly the male line, because the name keeps changing from McClinton , McClintock, McLinton, McLintock. --HORRENDOUS
Joseph Brown is a visitor at Coral Glen Maybole in 1881 A William Brown ( 15yrs bakers apprentice ) is living with Agnes (Bruce) &William McClintock & family at Earlston close in Dennistoun Glasgow –1901 census over two pages.
Agnes a younger daughter marries a JOHN BROWN at Kelvin in 1895. He died in 1902 & she then married Thomas Irvine in 1904 in Govan. She is indexed as McClintock. The father of John Brown ( on marriage cert) seems to be the visitor on 2nd page of 1901 census

HI Emmess
Welcome to RootsChat! It's not very clear from your post what help you are looking for specifically. It might help us if you added a bit more including what areas you need more info about or advice.
Regards.

William
From your previous posts this week, re Elizabeth McClintock (and variants), it did occur to me that maybe she had remarried following the death of Joseph Brown in 1893. She would have been relatively young still (31/2). There are a number of marriages showing on SP for an Elizabeth McClintock, mostly in Glasgow after 1893.
This may be why you haven't been able to find her death details if she is indexed by her maiden name and her second married name?
Regards.
Monica
