Nope you have to search in person!Some of the info & deatil is amazing & I was enthralled,appalled,shocked& saddened by some of the info.

Thanks Joette,
I have taken down some ref numbers and info while I was there last week, but never had enough time to ask the man to bring the book up to read, as I was flying home that evening 
I have e mailed the Mitchell to see if they can let me know the parents names. 
My mum in law found her grandparents, and it's amazing what info she has, they are posting out to her. I can't wait to read it. You're right some of it is very sad.
Oh well that will teach me to spend my last day shopping in Glasgow 
I love it there, and can't wait to return.

I will be at the Mitchell in a fortnight-baby being born permitting(not mine!)& would be happy to transcribe any info-I think they may even allow the filming on a digital camera-I am going to chance my arm anyway.  -as my Granny would say "If you don't ask you don't get"

That is very kind of you, I wish I could jump on a plane and go back, but I can't leave my husband looking after the children again so soon.

No it's my nephew's wife that's about to give Birth-my sister thinks it will be any day now-she is desperate to become a Granny but I can't believe my wee sister is going to be one!
Yes if you pm me with details I will be happy to have a look as I am unlikely to have any more of mine there-I found three two of which I wasn't looking for & didn't find the one I was!
Anybody else I am happy to have a wee look too-baby depending-I may be up to my elbows in nappies.!

She had the Baby yesterday at 9:15 a boy 7lbs 6Oz's-so much for the 5lbs they told her to expect.
He is blue eyed,dark blonde & with long fingers & big feet.
Amy had a very long painful labour but they are both es tactic with their wee boy.
Will hopefully still get to the Mitchell & check out your Application.
I think they are going to call him Adam as he is the first & looks like himself.
