This is really for Sophiedog, I have a Richard Nightingale b abt 1778, but I think in Warnham, several possibilities for parent but nothing secure, Richard was in Warnham in 1841 age 63 with wife Mary, sons Benjamin and Solomon but his daughter Mary was dead by then leaving a newly born daughter who doesn't appear again until 1860. another of those mysteries. Don't suppose that links with any of the other Nightingales here.

Hi again Sophiedog. hope you got my last communication. Mary Nightingale daughter of Richard and Mary was born- probably baptised since it came off IGI - 28 March 1819 at Horsham. married to Henry Harding 21st June 1840 at Capel. Died of 'convulsions after delivery' 7th January 1841 at Warnham. Her daughter Mary was born 23 Dec 1840 and baptised 7 Feb 1841. She married James Hazeltine in Ockley 3rd January 1860. Possible death for her- March quarter 1919 reg Dorking but haven't chased that. Hope that fills the gap.
