look up please Quinn/Mcguire Linlithgow

Hi ,i am having difficulty finding a birth for Alice Quinn born in Linlithgow in approximately 1854. Her parents were Hugh Quinn and Isabella Cooney.

Also  does anyone have any idea how i can trace her husband James Mcguire and his parents Parick Mcguire annd Sarah Smullen. James gives his birthplace as Ireland on the 1881 census but no placename:( James was born approximately 1853.

hi ,i doubt this is much use to you but still here goes.
i found hugh and isabella on scotlands people in the 1861 census,

hugh age 34 a mason born ireland
isabella age 35

eliza ? age 9

janet age 5

rose ann age 2 months.

there is no sign of alice .could eliza be her  possibly.

hope its some good.i couldent find a birth either but i will have another look.

thanks for looking them up for me, still not sure this is them, in 1861 Alice would have been about 7 years old maybe 8, does it have an adress for them at all? I seem to be stuck on this branch as well as the Mcguires with James Mcguire only giving his birthplace as Ireland on the 1881:( thanks again regards Michael

hi michael.
the only address i can read is the area of, st george, glasgow.

there is also a john quinn on the page age 40
a boarder and a widower.
also a mason by trade.

sorry i can find out more as its hard to read.
