Oh my G..! Now i think i have got something on my webpage, and its a bit scary, my picture didn't get there though, what happened to it.? I really don't feel i know what I'm doing, its all a bit hit and miss. With Bobs help i got the webpage up ( thanks Bob, you are a star ) [and using Microsoft Frontpage i started to type, added a picture then thought I'd try uploading it. The results are a bit naive and minus my picture, but it's a start.
Think i'm a long way off some of those lovely sites everyone else seems able to produce, but hey, i'm trying!

Hi Bumblemum,
I just browsed on your website and right-clicked on the graphics.
Looking at the properties then gives you the address, where the browser expects to find them.
My suggestion: If you don't already have a folder for your web-site on your computer, then -
-create one (plumtrees)
- transfer the index.htm it
- within plumtrees, create a new folder images
- copy all your images (photos, buttons, etc) there,
- edit index.htm in FrontPage and make sure the graphics links point to this folder.
Then when you upload to your website, also upload everything in images to the folder on your website called images
another tip: rename all files in lower-case and without blanks in the names, use an underline character
i.e. instead of Dads%20picture.jpg use dads_picture.jpg
(the %20 is the character the browser adds for a space, 'cause it doesn't like them !)
