lookup for JORDAN

Hi All, can anyone find any information on great aunt Gertrude Jordan, born about 1889 in Newcastle Northumberland. I have parents and siblings, what I would like to find is her marriage and any family she may have had, the marriage name Cresswell has been mentioned but I am not sure, she lived in Jarrow Co Durham after her marriage and she had at least one son, this is all the information that I have.  Anyone who can help please do, I would be very grateful.

Hi Peter, thanks for the link, It will come in handy for future searches but not this one i'm afraid, she must have married in another area, she lived newcastle upon tyne which was northumberland before her marriage, she was born 1889 so her marriage may have been 1910-1920 any idea where I could find the record for this marriage would be welcome.

I did a quick search of a couple of years on the site below and found this marriage Dec quarter 1919 South Shields Gurtrude Jordan and Ernest Coates ref 10a 2116. If you go to this site you can order certificates online. You can also search for births, may cost a few shillings but well worth it.
