Francis Louis LONGFORD - Boer War?
« on: Friday 02 December 05 22:02 UTC (UK) »

unfortunately easier to find the dead than the living in the Boer War.

Hi Izabel, Don't go to any trouble since I haven't a clue where this guy went, but he disappeared after the 1901 census and no death has been found for him in England or even Ireland - his birth place, before 1907 when his wife married again claiming to be a widow.  But if you come across a Francis Louis Longford I would be more than pleased to hear from you.

Thank you so much for keeping his name in mind, it sounds a bit posh so might stand out if you ever see it, not that he would be an officer since he was a labourer in Liverpool earlier.

Thanks so much
Mary
