Hamilton Oliver

I noticed on a "UK BBC Action" site that there was a participant by the name of Hamilton Oliver of West Dumbarton. I couldn't log in as a UK post code is required. (I'm in the States) The reason it piqued my interest is that my great Uncle bore the same name and was from Bridgend. It couldna be him; he'd be over a hundred. His sister Marie married my Grandfather James Baird Kennedy who was the son of James and Elizabeth Baird Kennedy mentioned on another posting on this site. (James was the brother of Alexander K) I believe that posting by "CKennedy" is my second cousin in Brooklyn NY!
Hamilton Oliver also had sisters named Jessie and Jennie. Perhaps a descendant of one of them? Their mother's name was Clara Clem and she was a school teacher from Cornwall who moved up to Dumbarton. If anyone is a descendant of these Olivers, drop me a line! Our Nana, Marie Oliver Kennedy (d 1985) was quite a character snd we miss her still!

By the way, I hope it is alright to mention, I posted some old pictures of the Olivers on a site called "More Than A Memory" which celebrates Dumbarton and its folk.
