The first was taken on the prom at Broadstairs. I think that it was taken between 1895 and 1898 but the mutton sleeves would put in at about 1905. I think it's my gt-grandfather and his sisters.
The reason for the specific date is that my gt-gt grandfather died in Broadstairs in July 1898 and I think that he's the older gentleman in the second photo.
The photos were found in the back of my gt-grandfather's naval album recently discovered. The family ones are with old postcards of Broadstairs and so I have assumed that it was either a family holiday else the family was visiting my gt-gt-grandfather.
