Is there by any chance a non conformist church in Coldingham ?

As my William Whitehead was married in Coldingham to Mazie / Masie Mcpherson 11th Mar 1821
there daughter was baptised in shaws lane Newcastle (Non Conformist)
as was Maise Mcpherson
It seems strange that they did not marry in there own parish ?
As Maise who was Baptised as Margaret Nisbet Mcpherson was born in Berwick upon Tweed and William was born in Duns

Hi Ian,
I'm not really up on non-comformist churches in Coldingham but there is a bit about it on Genuki, Coldingham, churches. I know that there were congregations who became disaffected by the conformist churches in the area and broke away and this is probably why another church was built in the area.
