What district would Long Buckby, Northampton be?

Hello!

I'm a bit unfamiliar with district lines in England and I'm looking at records for my ancestors who lived in Long Buckby, Northampton, but nothing is listed as "Long buckby".  Would that be considered the district of Daventry (it's the closest big town I could see to it)?  Is there a site or a place where there is information on district lines and things like that or is it something that you just pick up eventually?
