Elizabeth Rooney 1880-1917 my 2x gr aunt

Hi
Since setting up my SIT I have changed the name I use (didn't like the old one).
My query is, to change my name on the table to I have to delete all my surnames and rekey them.
I only ask as someone asked if I had several names to go with my numerous personalities (lol). 
Many thanks for your time.

I rather imagine you do, All yours are in your former name.

Hi Bob and other SITs
I added my surnames when I was using 'Gadget Applebiscuit' as my RC Name. Since then I've shortened it to just plain old 'Gadget'. I went to add a few extra surnames but it won't let me add them - says the chattername is wrong, although it let's me see my existing surnames 
Do I have to go back to GA before I add any names or what?
Gadget (once also Applebiscuit, user name = merched)
I've just gone in and tried again and it has let me add a surname. Now why was that
