Jamieson is a very common name on Shetland, I don't know if this is any help to you.

You really need to give more info re: exactly what information you are looking for.  Are you looking specifically for Leonard Jameson b 1918 in Notts?

If so - you will find his birth registration on freebmd December qtr 1918 mothers maiden name Tolley

Knowing his mothers maiden means we can find a marriage between Jameson/Tolley

Marriages June qtr 1913
   
John W Jameson    Basford  7b 429   
Sarah J Tolley       Basford  7b 429

You can also search freebmd for other Jameson births in Notts with a mothers maiden name Tolley to find if Leonard had any siblings
