Hi,
This is something of a long shot. I am looking for information about the parents and siblings of Adelaide Rossiter born Sturminster Newton circa 1818.
I know that her father was John Rossiter and that her mother was Elizabeth Gough but have no further details other than their names.
Adelaide had a sister Phylis, who I think was older. She had two brothers, Benjamin ( born circa 1819) and George (born circa 1821). Unfortunately Ben and George left England as stowaways before 1841 heading for Canada.
Any information about Adelaide and her family would be greatly appreciated.TIA.

Nice to hear from you. Thanks for that.
I'm told that Adelaide may have had a sister Amelia probably born 1815 to 1825. Also can you find a marriage record there please for John Rossiter and Elizabeth Gough?
Are there any other Rossiters at Sturminster Newton please? Hopefully one may be a relative and maybe I can find a link by thinking laterally.
This is the voice of desperation speaking!! LOL

there are 2 burials showing for rossiters in sturminster newton-
amelia aged 46yrs buried 4th may 1831
benjamin aged 49yrs buried 3rd april 1826
these could both be likely parents?
