Hello tobyjug,
The only Marriage I could find in Mold of a William Hopwood and Margaret.

June 16 1832. William Hopwood. Widower. Married Margaret Williams, Spinster.
Witnesses. Ephraim Hopwood and Anne Jones.
None of them signed their names they all made their mark (X).

If you post a message asking for William and Margaret on the 1841 and 51 you should see if they are Isaiah's Parents.

If you want the details from Isaiah and Martha's Marriage let me know and I'll get them the next time I'm in Chester I'll call in the archives.

Paul.

I am the great grand daughter of William Hopwood and the grand daughter of William Alfred Hopwwod, who was headmaster of the Board School in Glanrafon, Mold and I spent my first 2 years in Mynydd Isa. I am having difficulty trying to establish which of the Isaiah/Isiah/Esiah Hopwood's belong to my family tree as they are all married apparently, to a Martha Hopwood. Could this be because the census forms are totally inaccurate?
